Have you ever wondered how to type that bullet which is used to create a Launcher Button or the symbol for Pi? Key Caps will tell you. You can find it in your Apple Menu. Once you launch Key Caps you will see a keyboard similar to this.
When you press the option key the screen will change to this
press the control key and......
As you type with Key Caps active you will see what the characters will look like in the text box. You can choose any font (I showed you Charcoal) which is active on your system. To choose the font you would like to preview, choose from the Font menu. Don't forget to try different command key combinations. Some fonts come with extensive character sets. You can type what you like in Key Caps then Copy & Paste wherever you would like, although in e-mails some characters are not supported.
